A big thanks to all of you for the years of creative inspiration!
After three years of blog posts the kids' closets are full and my idea jar is empty. It's time for me to get outside (hello exercise, old friend!) and spend more time with my family. I will leave the blog archives up for a little while and maybe I'll pop back in now and then with a project. It's been soooo nice knowing you all.

What? Noooo! yours is one of my favorite sewing blogs. It feels good just to see what you've felt like sewing today, and join in over here. I'm loosing a friend! =0( If it makes you feel any better, I have a (birth related) blog where I hardly ever post. But I do that on purpose - I figure that if someone is looking for information of the type I provide, they are looking for quality and integrity, over quantity. So after stumbling onto my site, there is no fluff, just the good articles that hit me, a few times a YEAR. I'm still there. I still have archived information and interact with people. But the pressure if off!
Anyhow. *sniff*. Take a break over the holidays and leave the door open for re-thinking. Hug.x

I understand your reasons but you will be missed. I have recently taken up hula hooping for exercise. It's pretty great, you should try it out.

Those who love to create will find sewing a worthwhile hobby to pursue. You can work with items as simple as cross stitch designs, or even make your own clothing. The type of sewing supplies that you will need depend on the area of sewing that you intend to pursue.

Oh no you can't go! I just found your blog and LOVE it! I did follow, you know, just in case you decide to share something new with us. I am loving seeing all of these great things and am going to make a couple of these skirts for my grand daughter, she will love them. Thank you so much for sharing!
