Don't know about you, but I plan to spend the long weekend nesting. It's time to change the summer clothes to the winter around here, and it's time to clean up my sewing area.
Can I interest you in a little package of bits and pieces? Some smaller scraps, some bigger pieces.
Because you deserve fun mail too.
To be entered, simply leave your long weekend hopes below. Winner will be chosen on September 4th and announced at the top of this post. Giveaway open to anyone in North America (due to weight).

my long weekend hopes? i'd love to get the top and back pieced for the baby quilt i'm working on... and i'd love to spend lots and lots of time doing pretty much nothing with my husband and little girls! we've got another little girl arriving sometime around the beginning of october, so while we're super excited to be a "5 family" as my daughter says, I want to make sure we get some good time to enjoy being a "4 family."
Beautiful fabrics! My weekend hope is to get the time to recharge and reorganize. Thanks for the great giveaway!
Such gorgeous prints! Me, please!
DH is off on a business trip in about an hour, so my long weekend hopes are just for the Littles to let me sleep a bit!
Cute fabric! I'm hoping to get a little extra sleep with my wonderful husband taking his turn getting up in the mornings with our girls.
What a fun idea!
I just finished our first five days of teaching kindergarten so I mainly plan to relax and recharge a little. I do need to finish up some sewing, too.
We have friends in town for the long weekend. Four adults, three toddlers (2 1/2, 3, and 3 1/4 years old) and a 5 month old! Let the wild rumpus begin!
hopes include some sewing & maybe a movie with my dd
I have 3 boys and a newborn, I would settle for some sleep and to clean more than the kids dirty!
(some Heather Ross fabric wouldn't hurt, lol)
Oh, I hope I can get some work done on my Halloween costume, but I also hope I can get all my homework done!
I have been working on baby shower gifts for the past three weeks. So I am looking forward to some fun projects.
thanks

What fun! I'm hoping to get my house back under control. :) You know, at least temporarily.
School starts on Tues. and so most everything is on hold 'til then. But I hope to at least get the laundry done this weekend. ;)

I'm organizing my attic to add a craft/sewing area. My husband just finished the top to my cutting table (yeah!) and I got a huge rug to lay down on the old wood floor (no splinters!). I want to organize my fabric in the storage area on my cutting table and then sew a few curtains for the attic window.
Of course, none of that is getting done since I'm surfing the internet now LOL

We are freezing corn on Monday and then having a picnic with my family! Should be a long but fun day!
my weekend hope was to attack the housework today and start decluttering...almost done...tomorrow is a day of rest and when you pick a number on tuesday the 4th..just think of me, it my birthday....
good luck to all in north america
I would love to go to the Arts festival in town. I'd also like some sewing time to make a stuffed parrot and a lion I've been working on. More than that, though, I hope my children get along. There seems to be a lot of rivalry lately...
Long weekend!!! time to sleep late in the morning( though I forgot that, how was the feeling since my son was born. Every weekend he wakes up early and come to me and tells 'mama wake up!!!). Anyway, I'll reorganize all my craft supplies. It's time time reorganize all my fabric, no matter how small it is, because I'll sew one table cloth. And you know, I'm going to use my hubby's all old shirts. Anyway, all the fabrics in the pictures are really cute.
I'm working Monday so my regular weekend hopes are that we get the kitchen and living rooms clean. lol.
Lovely fabrics!
Finish up a pair of knitted clogs and felt them. Finish up a cardi on my knitting machine. Withstand my kids' cries for new shoes.
I have been sewing Halloween costumes for my grandkids this weekend. And our church picnic is on Sunday, and the highlight will be all the quilts on display:):) Happy Labor Day weekend!!!
Hmm... hopes... maybe to finish curtains for my kids. Thanks for a goal!
Wish we were getting a long weekend here but sweet hubby has to work. I do plan on getting some quilting done tomorrow though! Thanks for an awesome giveaway! Have a great weekend!
My wish is that my kids would stop fighting and get along! (Single parenting on three day weekends is harsh!) Other than hoping to find some fun activities to keep them busy, I hope to finish piecing my king size top - yay!
I had big plans to get a lot done, and I have accomplished a small portion of that. I need to get started on the grands some I Spy quilts for Christmas!
Thanks for a chance to win.
My long weekend hopes: I have 4 cloth diapers to finish sewing. 6 mama cloth that need snapped. 3 baby gown that need sewn. I need to then take pictures of everything, price everything, then list them for sale on my Etsy. I think I will need more than one long weekend :)
I have been visiting my kids and grandkids, and am flying back tomorrow. DH and I will probably drive somewhere on Monday. He was alone in the apartment all day today, and is getting rather antsy to get out.
I hope to get some yardwork done and watch the F1 race on Sunday. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

I was hoping to get a lot of sewing done today. I did do a little, but had two lovely unexpected visits instead. I'm hoping to spend tomorrow with my parents, and enjoy their company. I hoping to finish up some sewing on Monday, then possibly soak up some sunshine. While I'm hoping I'll add that I hope to get in at least one camping trip before it gets cold. Thanks for sharing your fabric.
I hope to relax a little and maybe read a book. I would also like to sew a pair of shorts for my son.
Thanks for the great giveaway!

My weekend hopes are to finish sewing a few Christmas gifts... I feel like I'm running out of time.
Well, I really don't need more fabric but your scraps look darling, where my scraps all come from Value Village (thrift store). My weekend plans were/are Day camping at Dash Point State Park, and a Mariner's game on Sunday. Monday is my youngest's birthday-she is 4, so baking a cake and celebrating that.
