Handmade Easter Projects

A few last minute spring craft ideas for kids and mommas from blog posts past:

You can always set the kiddos loose with some glitter, food color + vinegar and eggs.  This should buy you some time to get your craft on.

Whip up a fancy schmany Easter skirt or three (pattern: Tea Party Skirt by Pink Fig Patterns)

Or why not a skirt for her and for her dolls?

Fabric bunting - two sided triangles inserted into double fold bias tape.

Bleeding tissue paper egg tree (tutorial here)

Resuable snack bags (lined with PUL or nylon)

Bloomers - alter any shorts pattern by adding elastic, fun ruffles and trims

Diapers for dolls

And maybe a hammock too - suspend a length of fabric from two pieces of dowling and add loops to hang the hammock

Recycle old nightstands to make a play kitchen

Give old clothing new life with a sunny tub of dye (I used I-Dye from Dharma Trading online)

scrap quilts for well-loved bears

An outdoor "table and chairs" - free

Love the bright yellow dye job! What dye did you use? I can not get my stuff that bright.
