(Little) Pinafore Pattern Giveaway (closed)

Winner:  Debbie (I have sent you an email)

Despite good intentions, I never did get around to making these pinafores for V when she was small.

They are both for children under 4 years old, and it doesn't look like either pattern has been used.  If you could make use of them, simply say so below and I'll draw a recipient from the comments on February 8th.

I just thought the other day that I should look out for a pattern for the cross-backed pinafore for my girls! Thanks for your generosity!

I could get double duty from these. I can make matching pinafore's for Grace and Claire! Not to mention the bloomers. I love bloomers for Grace now that she is potty trained. She's a wild run and tumbler so a nice pair of bloomers adds more coverage. Thanks for offering these!

Does it matter that I'm in Australia cause I would love to get my hands on the patterns. My 3 year old would look super cute in one and I have a new niece coming in a few weeks, would love to make some for her too. I'm crossing my fingers and toes!!!

I have the one with the blue checked outfit. I made the largest size and it was huge on my extra large 4 year old. I should have used thinner material to make it hang a bit better but it was till darn cute.

Oh! I had the blue checked one, too, when my girls were babies. (They're now in college.) I made them so many matching outfits from that pattern; my favorites were one made with a splashy sunflower print, and one made with plain pink cotton with an edging of white ric-rac stitched between the face and the liner.

BTW...I don't want to be included in the drawing; I just had to comment!

Obviously since I have one of those patterns you don't need to add me to the drawing. ;) I was so excited to comment that I had the same pattern! I know, at almost 45 I still act like I am 12. ;)

Not sure if my first comment worked but please enter me only once. My twins turned 2 on 2nd Feb but they were three months early so my daughter is only in 9 to 12month clothes at the mo so we would definitely get some wear out of the pattern (she was a diddly 1lb 14oz at birth bless her). Plus my antenatal friends are all expecting girls for their 2nd babies so these would be perfect presents too. (I'm in the UK by the way so don't worry if you're only doing a national draw).

My mother made a ton of these for my niece back in the early 70's. I still have the pattern. If I ever have a granddaughter, I'll get someone to make her one too. My fibro and arthritis don't allow me to do much sewing. Hemming pants about kill me!
