"Mom, Is There Broccoli in Here?" Popsicles

Like most of you, I'm trying to sneak in the nutrients where I can.
I make popsicles with plain yogurt, juice and kefir (it's a health food that Google says is really, really good for you).

Some chopped fruit nevers hurts either.

If only I could disguise some broccoli in there...

If you puree the broccoli 1:2 with some dark fruit (blackberries, blueberries, etc) then add that to the Popsicle, you might be able to get away with it :)

Try blending in spinach. We have smoothies every afternoon. My son loves them, even though he knows that I add 2 cups of fresh spinach & other goodies in it. You can't taste it if you add a little fruit or juice to it. Her hat is adorable, btw :). Did you make that?

I have a juicer and sometimes add spinach or carots to the popsicles ;-)

You could probably also use the V8 fusion or make smoothies with spinach or broccoli juice, banana and other fruits and make smoothie pops. I imagine they would be very similar to yogurt pops in consistency, as frozen bananas pureed in a food processor give a lovely frozen yogurt/ice cream texture.

I'm not sure how I got so lucky, but both of my boys love every vegetable imaginable. My oldest son will actually ask for brocoli!! But maybe if you did like everyone else has said and pureed it with some fruit she would never see it and wouldn't even know it was there. Good luck!!

If you steam the broccoli first it blends up really well for smoothies - seriously.
