This is such a charming retro style halter with a self-belt. On my dress, I omitted the ribbon detail from the belt and elasticized mine slightly differently than suggested.
The shoulders close with buttons. I love buttons!

Sizes included: 12 months to 6 years
What I liked: This dress was simpler to sew than I expected - I would recommend this one to beginners. There were very few pattern pieces to cut, which keeps things easy, and includes lots of photos and explanations. The belt is also completely detachable.
Anything I would change: I altered the belt a bit as I said above, just to suit my own taste.

I think my favorite dress would be the Little Lady, but since there are also "little fellas" in my house, I like the Summer Shirt for boys....most store bought patterns for shirts like this make it so much harder than it has to be. Also love the adorable Cuffed Shorts too! :)

So hard to pick 2! I like the shirred sundress and the spring dress. But I also really love the toddler backpack.
I'd love to learn to make some shorts and my toddler could definitely use her own backpack, so I'd pick those two patterns. What great stuff!

The Little Lady dress is very cute; your choice of fabric is lovely. I'd choose that pattern as a prize, along with Spring dress. That would challenge me to learn some shirring techniques. With a 2 year old granddaughter, no time like the present to learn :)
