Quirky Fabric Scraps Giveaway (closed)

Winner update: as chosen by Random.org, #97 MirWiggins.

Home Ec?  (Michael Miller)
Happy gnomes?  (also Michael Miller)
Sock monkeys? The Saggy Baggy Elephant?  (Quilting Treasures - got them locally in a higher end quilt shop)

Who doesn't love quirky?
Or Ikea?  (That one's self explanatory)
I saw one blogger who cleverly made cloth menstrual pads out of this fabric.  She centred a man on each one.  (Michael Miller again I believe - I don't have the selvedge edge)

My last scraps-o-fabric giveaway was a big hit, so here we go again with some retro and fun prints.
I'll give away some cuts from these and a few other fabrics to one lucky winner anywhere in North America.
TO ENTER:  Simply leave a comment below.  Make sure I can reach you by email via your profile, or by leaving an email address with your comment.  One winner will be chosen via Random.org on Thursday September 30th.

Ok, that home ec one is pretty awesome. Maybe that's where I've gone wrong in my life - assuming I do it at all, I do my housework in jeans, bare feet, and free of any pretty apron.

I would love to have a kitchen just like the one on that first fabric. I would save that piece of material and give it to my contractor and tell him, "here, make it look like this". Knowing him he could do it too. ;)

Casey said...

Where on Earth did you find these? I LOVE them. Especially the Saggy Baggy Elephant. That was one of my favorite books as a kid and I'd beg my Grandmother to read it to me over and over, my daughter just loves it too as well as my boys when they were a tad younger. I can see a lovely little dolly blanket made from it since her dolly is named Elephant it'd be wonderful. The others are great too, I LOVE the menstrual pad idea that is priceless.

Celeste said...

I love them!

ceelees(at)hotmail(dot)com

Sandy said...

I love these! The menstrual pad is too funny. An older lady at our local shop took some of that same fabric and made a pillowcase out of it. She tells everyone that she goes to bed with a bunch of half naked hunks every night!=)
I believe the Saggy Baggy Elephant fabric is from Quilting Treasures. I think that they also make some of it that is a preprinted panel that you can sew into one of the storybooks.
Thanks for the giveaway!

Good golly miss Molly that Home-Ec fabric is awesome. Maybe too awesome, sometimes I love a fabric so much I almost don't use it, but then I realize that is silly and then I do and then it is gone and then I get weepy. Not really but, I do hoard fabulous fabric lol. And you have some great fabrics here!

You always have such cute fabric! Do you buy online?
The menstrual pad fabric story is funny...although a tad bit mean...I would however make a mentrual supply carry case out of it, just because most men would never 'hold' the stuff for you ;)
I know what you mean about the snow coming right after the naked trees...makes me sad :(
Great looking veggies!!!!so jealous!

hugs!
