Summer, Come Out Come Out Wherever You Are

These photos are really just to remind me that summer made a brief appearance this year.   While most of the continent was sweltering, we've had below average temperatures for months.

It barely gets above 50 degrees anymore, so it's time to harvest this:
And hunker down for a long winter's nap *sigh*

Ahhh! I can't believe how short our summer was! This post makes me want to cry. . .

Wow! I can't believe I'm hearing someone say that. We hit the upper 80s/low 90s the other day and everyone was talking about the cool weather (sadly, in a very unsarcastic way). I have an idea! How about next year we arrange a house swap for about a month. I would love a cool summer.

PS- I am in Tupelo, Mississippi. So maybe you wouldn't want to swap houses! ;)

Your pics are beautiful, especially the tulips! Btw, I'm in Memphis, so I am totally with Paige on thinking upper 80's to low 90's is cool weather. I would love a cooler summer too!

Great Photos! Thank you for sharing...Summer flew this year, I guess it was because we kept very busy.
I'm dreading winter...but trying to not think about it while I enjoy Autumn.

The weather doesn't bother me....even all this rain we've had. Everyone is talking about the awful weather we had & I must have been in a fog cause I'm always thinking, "What? Wasn't it just normal for Calgary?"
I would however like two more months before its' really cold.
As I walked my boy to kindergarten this afternoon, the yellow leaves and spitting rain, reminded me that it really is fall. Farewell sweet summer.
