Mama's Day

(Looking for my Vintage Pattern giveaway? It's below)

As a special Mother's Day treat, Little V learned to scale the baby gate. That gate was my last vestige of please, please stay in your room and take a nap!!

She was so proud of herself when she made her escape. Then she went back and practiced 20 more times to make sure she had it mastered.

Little V is a doll, but she takes up a heck of a lot of my time. Sometimes I feel for my older child who has to wait for my focused attention. As my Mother's Day gift to her, I made a special quilt. The top is pieced from all the old dresses I made her when she was growing up. It's even more special because it's pieced over an old quilt that my grandmother made for me. I think that when the tops wore out, ladies of the past made quilts over. An extra bit of love to wrap her up in.

Happy Mother's Day

Little V is so cute and lucky to have a mommy that makes her such cute clothes. The quilt was a great idea and I'm sure your older daughter adores it. Happy Mother's Day!

I feel you with the time taking up-ness of small children. Every time I sit down either my 4 yr old or 2 yr old needs something. But I only have hopes for it getting better. And you couls have child proof handles on the inside of her door..... Happy mother's day!
