Confession #3

It is not unusual for me to go out of the house with stray threads stuck to my pants. It's like having a pet that sheds, only it's name is Serge. I bought my 12 year old a camera for her birthday and she snapped this photo of my bum for me. Hmph. Nothing like a bum snapshot to make a person realize that sewing is not actually classified as a workout. Hmph again.

I go out looking like that sometimes and my husband tries really hard NOT to look embarassed as he picks it off my nether regions :) Kids take the most candid shots don't they! xo

This is every surface during my sewing season (November through March). Your post made me laugh so hard. Glad it's not just me.

I've been known to have a pin stuck thru my shirt too. When I happen to find one the floor somewhere I just attach it to myself so it doesn't end up in someone's foot.

Only a "real" seamstress will understand.

I don't mean this in a creepy way, but you have the cutest little bum! Haha. I totally know what you mean though, I do that all the time. What I love the most is seeing those same little strings on my baby when she pads around the house. It's like aw, little just-like-mama <3

i try to remember at night to change into my jammies before i sew, other wise my black yoga pants (my uniform of life) are laundry bound!
